Material studies. by Suzanne-Helmigh Material studies. by Suzanne-Helmigh
Phew this was great practice :)
On 28th of November I had my mind set on finishing 100 studies of materials. Never knew I was able to finish.
I learned so much about materials, reflection, lighting, colors etc. I would recommend such a practice to anyone.
I started saving the references somewhere halfway so if you would like to have that file for your own practice purposes go to this FB link, click options and than download

Thanks to these studies, I was able to paint these:

HHEEEYYYYY, ifnally i found this work again! I was thinking of a practice that would jump start me into liking the the way i paint more, and also learn more about lighting and form, and this seemed to be the project i'd need.
I see you recommend it, so i'll give it a whirl, could i perchance get the references that you have, if you still have them? It'd be great to work in the same ones you've done, at least i'll have something to refer back to if i need to :D

Yup, I'm pretty sure you're also a sorcerer that took normal everyday objects and just turned them into balls for much easier drawing and painting :P
